Nikki is an enthusiastic, continuous learner on leadership, change, communication, coaching, and the brain and thinking styles. She listens deeply to those she coaches and is able to access how they think and see situations. This allows her coaching to be highly individualized to support lasting change. She helps others to increase their self-awareness, gain fruitful insights and design actions that get results.
Nikki is known for her ability to provide skillful feedback that brings recognition to both strengths and areas for growth. She is nonjudgmental, insightful and knowledgeable on a variety of leadership topics and tools. That, combined with her deep coaching and leadership experience, makes her an invaluable partner and resource to others. She finds it easy to connect with both technically minded leaders and creative, people-oriented leaders. She is able to meet them where they are and illuminates ways that they can expand their capacities and enhance their skills.
The two things that clients repeatedly say about her are: “She gets me and my situation” and “I wish I could take you with me to say it like you just said it.”
In addition to the improvement in their leadership capacity and their ability to communicate more effectively, clients often see a carryover of their increased clarity and skills to their personal life. This is an invaluable side benefit of the coaching work.
Nikki has been active in the development of leaders at all levels since 1992. She has taught a variety of leadership development topics, facilitated team building and provided coaching to numerous leaders in a variety of industries in the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors. Nikki is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Nikki is a native Denverite (a rare find) who is married, has two sons and loves to ski, take photos of nature, hike, read, weave tapestries and practice yoga. Throughout her entire career, she has successfully lived her commitment to achieve professional success, while still creating a healthy, balanced and family-oriented lifestyle. This is the legacy that she hopes will inspire others to do the same.
